Visitors are Great – Conversion is Critical

There are five main types of conversions:

  • Gathering e-mail addresses
  • Gathering data (perhaps by completing a form)
  • Completing a purchase
  • Receiving a call
  • Receiving a chat

To drive you visitors toward conversion consider the following:

  • Make sure that each page has a distinct call to action
  • Be specific  with your offering
  • Use phrases like “try today” or sign up now” to give visitor a sense of urgency
